I have a group show coming up next week in San Diego at Subtext gallery on the 5th, its only a few people so it should be fun; and another in New York at Sloan Fine Art later this month. The one in New York is a larger group and should be interesting to see. These are some pieces in progress to give an idea of what ill be showing. Try and make it if you can.

I admit that I am terrible at blogging, quite possibly one of the worst, however i am going to try and keep it updated from now on even if it is boring, lame, or pointless. It will be more than my once a year, i am going to aim at once a week, probably every two weeks. So here is the new start.

I have recently done a shirt with the guys over at Friends.United.Network., Sean T and Chris. They did a awesome job, especially with the colors. So if you like it then you can buy it and if you purchase it on http://www.fartminusf.com/shop/ than a get a small percentage, and it saves the guys at F.U.N. some money as well, so support the cause..........that is poor people helping poor people, because we all know the rich keep getting richer.

it starts

well, this is my first blog.  I decided to put up some pictures of my recent grad show at Art Center.  It is my most recent work, mixed in with a few older pieces.  My dad built the custom frames for me, and they came out amazing.

these are a few details of some of the paintings put up, most of them are mixed media: acrylic, spray paint, gouache, and collage.

and these are some details of the sculptures.  The large scale sculpture is paper covered cardboard, with gouache line-work.

the wood sculpture was made with different scrap pieces of wood, from balsa to ply, and was put together with all dowels, no glue.  It was a great break from painting for me, and a very enjoyable process.
